Atlanta, GA
Mayor’s Andre Dickens' Office of International and Immigrant Affairs is committed to position Atlanta as a welcoming city with a connected and inclusive community that uplifts our foreign-born population and provides opportunity for all. The Office has been focused on developing and fostering relationships between Atlanta's international communities, City departments, and external partners to empower our foreign-born population through access to information, to identify economic opportunities, and to address local and global challenges.
The Office is also partnered with many local organizations that provide naturalization support including Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Catholic Charities Legal Services, the Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc., the Latin American Association, Inspiritus, New American Pathways, Tahirih and the International Rescue Committee in Atlanta. Currently, nearly one third of Atlanta’s non-citizen immigrants are eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship; the Office continues to host activities that promote citizenship and offer assistance with the naturalization process.
