South Gate, CA

South Gate officially launched its program in June 2016 and will be working closely with the National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO) in hosting citizenship events for the southeast Los Angeles County region. The citizenship efforts in South Gate are led by a five member City Council who select presiding officers to serve as Mayor and Vice Mayor on a rotating basis.
