For over a decade, the city of Las Vegas has provided citizenship education through its Parks & Recreation department. Recognizing the changing demographics of the city’s population, the program has expanded over the years to include legal, financial, and language access resources to legal, permanent residents. Alongside valued collaborative relationships with several area nonprofits, our goals are targeted to improve the health, well-being, economic prosperity, and civic engagement of our many immigrant communities.
